FP&A Advisor (Client-facing, SaaS)
Limelight works with finance teams that are outgrowing spreadsheets and need a modern way to plan, forecast, and report. Our customers don’t need “implementation support” — they need a finance partner who understands FP&A deeply and can guide them through real-world planning challenges.
This is a senior, client-facing consulting role. You will work directly with CFOs, VPs of Finance, and FP&A leaders to design, build, and operationalize budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and reporting workflows inside Limelight.
If you’ve lived in FP&A, led planning cycles, built models from scratch, and can confidently run a room with finance leaders — this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Client Leadership & Advisory
Act as the primary finance advisor for a portfolio of customers during onboarding and beyond
Lead working sessions with CFOs, VPs of Finance, Controllers, and FP&A teams
Translate messy, Excel-heavy planning processes into clean, scalable FP&A workflows
Ask the right finance questions — not just follow a checklist
FP&A Solution Design
Design and implement:
Annual budgets and rolling forecasts
Driver-based revenue models
Workforce and headcount planning
Actual vs budget / variance analysis
Board- and exec-ready reporting

Ensure solutions are not just built — but adopted
Communication & Stakeholder Management
Clearly explain complex financial concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Manage expectations, timelines, and priorities with senior clients
Confidently present recommendations and push back when needed
Build trust — customers should feel “this person gets our business”
Collaboration
Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success
Provide feedback to product based on real customer FP&A use cases
Help shape implementation standards and playbooks as Limelight scales
