Troubleshoot Linux, application, database, networking, DNS, and SSL/TLS issues.
Manage backups and test restoration and disaster-recovery procedures.
Respond to production incidents, investigate root causes, and implement lasting fixes.

Work with development and QA teams to make releases consistent, repeatable, and easier to troubleshoot.
Manage deployment configurations, environment variables, secrets, and artifact repositories.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and routine maintenance using scripts and infrastructure as code.
Improve deployment validation and rollback procedures.
Maintain clear operational documentation and runbooks.
Security and access

Investigate security alerts and address vulnerabilities using tools such as AWS Inspector, GuardDuty, and CloudTrail.
Apply patches and maintain security logging and monitoring.
Support SOC 2 evidence collection, control monitoring, and remediation tracking.
Tickets and reporting
Own infrastructure, deployment, and security tickets from investigation through resolution.
Communicate issues, business impact, and progress clearly to technical and nontechnical teams.
Prepare customer platform usage reports for Customer Success and infrastructure usage and cost reports for internal teams.
What you bring
5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or systems administration, including practical AWS experience.
Strong Linux administration and production troubleshooting skills.
Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Jenkins.
Experience with Git, artifact repositories, deployment automation, and release management.
Scripting skills using Bash, Python, or similar tools.
Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Practical knowledge of AWS networking, IAM, DNS, firewalls, logging, and monitoring.
Clear communication skills and the ability to take ownership of issues through resolution.
A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is welcome.
